Week 13 Draftkings Plays

I have had a crazy week so this weeks article will be short and sweet!

QB:

Cam Newton ($7,400)- Cam is my cash play of the week. He faces the putrid New Orleans defense who has been handing out points to opposing QB’s.

Jay Cutler ($5,100)- Cutler is a sneaky GPP play against the 49ers. Cutler has been killing it lately and the 49ers have been bad at defending on the road.

RB:

David Johnson ($3,400)- He will be highly owned but for good reason. He is unbelievably explosive and now it will be interesting to see how well he can do with a bigger workload. I like him in both cash and GPP lineups.

Deangelo Williams ($5,600)- He is very inexpensive and gets a solid matchup. He should get a huge workload which puts him in consideration for cash and GPP lineups.

Shaun Draughn ($4,000)- This is a contrarian play. He faces an overrated Bears Defense by the numbers. They control the clock so often that opposing running backs don’t get a chance to do much damage. However Draughn is on the field almost every offensive snap and should be able to take advantage of the Bears D. He is for GPP use only.

WR:

Alshon Jeffrey ($6,900)- Alshon has been having a bunch of solid games, but nothing huge. This week I am expecting a huge game, somewhere around a 10-150-2 line wouldn’t surprise me. I am using Jeffrey in both Cash games and GPP’s because of how confident I am. The 49ers are bad on D but should keep this game close. With Alshon nearing full health and Cutler airing it out the sky is the limit.

Devante Parker ($3,300)- Last week he finally started to show why he was a first round pick. This week Rishard Mathews is most likely out giving parker his first start. Facing one of the league’s worst secondary’s parker has huge upside especially at his near-min price. He is a bit risky but I liked what I saw last week.

T.Y. Hilton ($5,700)- Hilton finally had a breakthrough with Hasselbeck at QB last week. I think more of the same will happen this week. The Steelers secondary was absolutely shredded by Russell Wilson last week and something similar could happen this week. Hilton is very explosive and capable of racking up yards against this weak secondary. I will be playing Hilton in GPP’s.

Danny Amendola ($4,700)- Without Gronk this week Amendola could be heavily used. The Eagles secondary has been putrid lately and Tom Brady’s favorite weapon should eat. I am using Amendola in cash and GPP’s.

TE:

Scott Chandler ($2,500)- This goes along with Amendola’s section. Chandler should slide into that third role behind Lafell and Amendola, but will still have a good game. I think Bill Belichick will want to throw all day against the eagles because that is their biggest weakness. At minimum priced chandler will be one of the highest owned players this week. His floor and price leaves so much room for other players it is hard to resist.

Greg Olsen ($6,400)- Olsen is the top play at TE this week. He is a great cash game TE despite being a bit pricy. Stacking him in a cash lineup with cam isn’t advised against.

D/ST:

Cardinals ($3,900)

Bengals ($3,400)

Patriots ($3,400)
