Week 7 Draftkings Plays

DFS looks like it may be running out of gas according to the law and seems to be taking a path similar to that of online poker. The good part is, until any ruling has been made we can still make money! I currently keep my DFS money in a Paypal account and then transfer it back in when I want to play in contests. That way in case something happens with whatever balance you have in DFS then you will be okay. Week 7 is primed with opportunity and has some good matchups to exploit, use these players and win!

QB:

Carson Palmer ($6,700)- Palmer has been wonderful in the world of Fantasy Football this year. He should continue his excellence this week against a very soft Baltimore secondary on MNF. He has the weapons with Larry Fitz, John Brown and Michael Floyd to have a fantastic game this week. Many people including myself have him as their highest ranked QB this week.

Andrew Luck ($7,600)- Contrary to the nice surprise that Palmer has been, Luck has been a bit of a disappointment. He will probably be under-owned this week due to the high price-tag and the fact that he hasn’t performed well this year. The Saints-Colts game is projected to be one of the highest scoring games of the week and I think that Luck will have a big part of it. He should be able to throw at will against the Saints secondary.

Philip Rivers ($6,500)- Leading the league in passing yards, Rivers has been a fantasy stud this year. The Chargers game script has seemed to be in his favor almost every game. The Chargers D has been average and they have been keeping many other teams in games, which has allowed Rivers to rack up pass attempts. This week the Chargers play the Raiders who have a bad secondary but should find a way to keep the game close. This should again lead to a ridiculous amount of pass attempt, completions and most importantly yards. Rivers and Palmer are two great mid-range options for this week that have unlimited upside.

RB:

Todd Gurley ($5,000)- Gurley may be my favorite play of the week and will be in almost all of my lineups. He is cheap at 5K, is playing one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, has been getting a heavy workload, and has one of the highest YPC in the NFL. Not much more to like then that!

Devonta Freeman ($7,900)- Freeman keeps putting up ridiculous stats and even though I know he is due to regress at some point, I really don’t think it will be this week. The Titans D has played well thus far, but have also played some pretty bad teams. The spread for this game is only at -3.5 for the Falcons but I expect them to have a sizable league and run the ball at will. Freeman should continue his dominance.

Latavius Murray ($6,100)- Murray could have a huge week. Before getting benched the last two weeks he was on pace for a huge workload. I don’t see him getting benched this week as long as he holds onto the ball because he plays against the Chargers who have a terrible run D. Even James Starks broke off a long run against them last week. He is one of those explosive players that can win you good money in a tournament. I will have him in many GPP lineups.

Bonus: Christine Michael ($3,000)

WR:

Larry Fitzgerald ($7,400)- As I talked about earlier, I like the Cardinals passing offense in this game. Now the question is John Brown V Fitz. I expect more people to take Brown because of his great game last week and because he is cheaper. Let’s not forget Fitz going crazy in the beginning of the season and being Palmers favorite target for the first few games. He should be worth every penny of his price tag with the high floor and the potential to explode for a massive game.

Brandon Marshall ($7,800)- The Jets are most likely going to get down at some point and are going to have to air it out. Marshall has looked great this season and has been one of the most consistent receivers in fantasy. Yeah he is a bit pricy, but if the Pats go up big, expect some massive garbage time points from B-Marsh.

Donte Moncrief ($5,200)- For only $5,200 you can get a receiver linked to a top tier QB, playing against a bad secondary, with a high O/U and receiving a good % of his teams targets. Moncrief seems to be another safe play with huge upside. I also like T.Y. Hilton this week, but the gap between Hilton and Moncrief doesn’t make it worth it.

TE:

Travis Kelce ($4,900)- After losing Jamaal Charles for the year, the Chiefs are going to have to rely on someone else if they want to be half decent. Maclin probably won’t be playing at 100% this game if he does play and with no other offensive weapons I expect Alex smith to look to Kelce early and often. It also helps that the Steelers have been notoriously bad against guarding the TE this year. Kelce will be in many lineups, GPP and Cash.

Jordan Reed ($4,200)- Reed was an absolute target monster when he was healthy. It is looking as though he will play this week which means you should definitely put him in your lineups. With Kirk Cousins at QB even Derek Carrier has been having some solid games despite not being very good, he loves throwing to his TE’s.

Def:

Rams ($2,400)

Falcons ($3,300)

Panthers ($3,100)
