Week 3 Draftkings Plays

It seemed like last week was pretty odd with very few RB’s who were drafted in the top 10 of Fantasy Drafts having good weeks. As far as my predictions went it was another okay week. The receivers I said to play included Larry Fitz, Jarvis Landry and Jordan Matthews. All three of them had good weeks and Larry Fitz absolutely killed it. Onto Week 3! This week I am just going to give you some of my favorite plays at each position since I would have a lot of overlap between cash and tournament.

QB:

Carson Palmer ($6,600)- Palmer has been playing great as of late and now has another good matchup. Larry Fitz is looking good as his #1 and John Brown is due to breakout and catch a long ball very soon. He is a pretty safe play with plenty of upside if the 49ers offense can keep up and keep palmer throwing.

Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5,100)- Gailey and Fitzpatrick reuniting has been a success. He has been playing great and now has a good matchup with the eagles secondary who isn’t very good. The Eagles also will play their up-tempo pace which should lead to more offensive plays for the Jets. He is so cheap this week that it only takes a little over 15 points for him to hit 3x value and hitting 5x value is very possible at 25.5 points.

Andrew Luck ($7,900)-I am not going to lie, Luck hasn’t looked good through the first two games, but I expect that to change this week. The titans are improved but still not very good and I expect Luck to have his way and start putting up the stats we are used to.

RB:

Adrian Peterson ($7,500)-The Vikings decided in week 2 that using their best player may help them win games! Peterson had a good game but could have had bigger one. This week he has a great matchup against the Chargers, who got gashed by Gio Bernard last week and Abdullah had a solid game against them the week before. Peterson is the most expensive running back but should pay off with a big week.

Latavius Murray ($5,800)- Murray is incredibly explosive and now gets to play against the Browns who have a horrible run defense. Murray has been getting ample amounts of touches and should continue to receive a lot of carries and catches as he runs wild against the browns D.

Frank Gore ($4,500)- The Colts have have played two teams with very good run defenses so far. Gore still ran well against the Jets and should have a much easier time running this week against the Titans. If the Colts get up to a big lead Gore should have a fantastic game as he runs out the game. He isn’t very expensive and should put up

WR:

Allen Robinson ($5,200) – I had him in this section week 1 hoping he would live up to his potential, but then got shutdown by emerging corner Josh Norman. In week 2 he went off and performed very well against what was thought to be a formidable Dolpins secondary. This week the Jags are expected to lose by around 2 TD’s which should make for some excellent garbage time points for A-rob. I love his value.

Brandon Marshall ($6,200)– Marshall will be in as many lineups as I can fit him into this week. He has shown over the last two weeks that he is still one of the best WR’s in the NFL. He has also built a good rapport with Ryan Fitzpatrick. Eric Decker looks like he may not play this week but even if he does he won’t be 100% which should lead to more opportunities for Marshall.

A.J. Green ($7,200) – Green is still a stud and if Dalton is forced to throw more then Green could have a big game. Baltimore’s secondary was torched last week by Derek Carr and company (Cooper and Crabtree both had over 100 yards.) Green also performs slightly better on the road.

TE:

Travis Kelce ($5,000)- Kelce should have a good game and always has upside to score multiple touchdowns especially in a game that may be higher scoring than people think.

Tyler Eifert ($4,800)- See A.J. greens section about the matchup. Eifert is now one of Daltons favorite targets and should be able to have another solid game.

Jordan Reed was recommended as well earlier in the week through the twitter account @Fantasy_Matrix.

Defense:

Seahawks ($3,400)

Panthers ($3,100)
